Meet Maddie Barnett & Abbie Barnette
Maddie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on December 4, 2018. She has been thru 8 months of very tough chemo treatments and is currently in remission. She will continue her treatments over the next 2 years to help prevent any chance of a relapse. These treatments involve weekly chemo infusions, weekly/monthly spinal taps, antibiotics & chemo at home, weekly doctor visits, & blood/platelet transfusions. She has been a true warrior thru it all!
Abbie is a happy, fun loving 15 year old who was diagnosed in 2018 with a rare form of melanoma called, “Spitz Melanoma.” She is currently undergoing an aggressive treatment plan that requires her to receive treatments both in Greenville, SC and in Houston, TX. You can follow Abbie’s journey here:
